While Kate Middleton may be preparing for the birth of her second child with Prince William, there is much gossip doing the rounds regarding possible baby names, its gender and even the date that he or she is due to be born. However, additional rumors seem to be circulating regarding her post-baby body plan, which is said to include a possible tummy tuck surgery, exercise routines and even extra recovery time.

Not the First

The Duchess of Cambridge certainly wouldn’t be the first member of royalty to have plastic surgery performed – in fact; Camilla Parker-Bowles underwent major facelift surgery two years ago as well. Plans to welcome the new baby into the royal family are moving quickly. It’s been reported that the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington is already preparing for Kate’s arrival when she goes into labor, while Kensington Palace will also be working with the protocol that was put in place after Prince George was born. Although a few security-related changes have been made, the public can expect that same presentation of the second royal baby.

More Personal Time

When it comes to returning to performing royal duties and spending time in the public eye, Kate has decided that she will be taking more time off to bond with her second child. She initially felt that she had returned to working too soon after the birth of Prince George and she didn’t want to make the same mistake a second time round. Kate’s extended maternity leave could in fact be hinting at a somewhat longer recovery time this time as well. As a result, it has been hinted that Kate might be considering the idea of having tummy tuck surgery performed after the birth.

Regular Exercise

After giving birth to George, Kate reportedly engaged in an exercise program that involved a lot of walking and yoga sessions. A royal source also noted that she had hired the services of a personal trainer for her gym sessions at Kensington Palace and the Harbour Club in Chelsea. It was also revealed in a post-baby biography that Kate’s mom Carole “whipped up nourishing fruit smoothies and healthy meals each morning” for her while she stayed at her parent’s home. The biography also went on to mention that another favorite snack food of Kate’s during this time was muesli bars.

An excessive amount of backlash was received by the OK! Magazine after it ran the story on Kate Middleton’s “post-baby weight loss regimen” so soon after she had given birth. Many readers had even boycotted the magazine for a while, feeling that it was not only “too soon” to focus on Kate’s physical changes, but that it also pressured many new mothers into thinking that they had to make immediate plans to lose their baby weight.

If a woman decides to have a mommy makeover or any other form of plastic surgery performed, she should ensure that the procedures are carried out by a licensed and experienced plastic surgeon. This will provide the best possible end results and ensure that the procedure is performed safely.
