Dr. Spiegel and his team did a great job! On February 13 I had forehead reduction, hairline lowering, eyebrow lift, rhinoplasty, full face fat grafting and a subtle augmentation of my upper lip. There was very little pain after surgery- mainly discomfort from not being able to breathe through my nose. I hardly had to take any of the oxycodone they prescribed. (To be fair, I seemed to recover abnormally quickly so my experience might not be representative.) Then on February 20 I got 2000 FUE hair grafts to fill in my temples. It's now February 24 and I'm feeling well enough to go back to work. I already love the results - my forehead and nose especially already look MUCH better (i.e. less masculine). And it will only improve as the swelling continues to diminish and the last remaining bruise under my right eye disappears. I’m still in the “recovery phase”, but I’m already so pleased with my results. My face looks refreshed, without it being obvious that I had surgery. I found Dr. Tower through RealSelf which helped me find a provider in Boston with otoplasty reviews. I was hoping to find someone who had explicit experience in dozens of otoplasties a year, so was using surgery review counts here as a proxy. So, I wanted to contribute back!

Carole at the Spiegel Center was my coordinator and she was great in walking me through the process. I had a virtual consult with Dr. Tower first, an in-person consult, and then they were able to fit me in within a week or so for surgery before having to travel abroad.

The procedure was done with local anesthesia and took an hour or two. Dr. Tower was very collaborative and thoughtful. After several weeks of healing, we decided to make a small tweak (a personal preference), which Dr. Tower was very flexible and accommodating of. I can't stress enough how collaborative the experience was - we worked as a team to get the best outcome! He did an incredible job and my ears look really great.

Would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a thoughtful and collaborative otoplasty provider in Boston who genuinly cares about both achieving a great aesthetic outcome and one you're fully happy with!

Two years ago I noticed hooding of my upper eyelids which really started to bother me. I decided then that I wanted an upper blepharoplasty and started saving. I researched doctors in New England and after two consultations made the best decision by choosing Dr. Spiegel. Everyone was kind and put me at ease from start to finish. Uzma was informative, never pushy and so kind. During the procedure I was nervous being awake but Dr. Spiegel and his surgical fellow Dr. Glaskowski spoke to me the entire time telling stories and asking me questions to keep me calm. Throughout my recovery I got calls from Dr. Spiegel and Uzma almost every day the first week of recovery including the weekend! The healing process has been quick, especially since I did a session of hyperbaric oxygen therapy which reduced my swelling and bruising. I cannot recommend the Spiegel center enough. If you want the best doctors and staff who aren’t just talented but compassionate and truly care about their patients, look no further; I couldn’t be happier with my results, which are even better than I was expecting, and my overall experience at the Spiegel Center start to finish.

The nurses and anesthesiologist were top notch and my care coordinator was checking in both before and after surgery to make sure I had everything I needed. The results are still a work in progress (residual swelling and bruising still apparent, but hardly noticeable at 2.5 weeks) but even then, I still look way better than pre-surgery. I am really, really happy with the surgery because it looks like me 10 - 15 years ago and nothing looks 'plastic' or unnatural. I totally recommend Dr Tower, he did an outstanding job.

In mid June I had a SMAS Facelift, Upper Blepharoplasty, Lip Lift, and Revision Rhinoplasty with Dr Spiegel. I have been to several plastic surgeons, including Dr Nassif and Dr Dubrow. Dr Spiegel is incredibly sincere, I never feel judged by him and I trust his opinion. He is honest with me and will say if something is not needed or could wait. I found him in 2016 and connected to his sense of aesthetic, I think he has an incredible eye for how subtle changes can make a big impact overall, I attribute this to his FFS experience. My goal has always been to still look like myself but my best self and to take the more proactive approach as I did not want to wake up at 50 and get a face lift and have people not recognize me. Now, people notice I look refreshed but they can't figure out what I did. The upper blepharoplasty and lip lift were second procedures for me as I had them about 9 years ago (I have hereditary droopy lids). The natural aging process (I am 45 and a half now) resulted in these bothering me about a year ago. This was a lot of procedures to have done but it was not that bad after I passed the first 24 hours. I could tell how pleased I was with the results the day of surgery. I did not even bruide around my eyes. I could not be happier that I chose Dr Spiegel (again) and Uzma my care coordinator was and is incredible ensuring I had everything in order for my surgery. It is so convenient to be able to have the surgery at Newton Surgery as it is private and easier than dealing with a surgery center at a hospital. I am so grateful to Dr Spiegel and his whole team.
