Each year, millions of men around the country have some type of plastic surgery procedures carried out in a bid to look younger or even to correct minor imperfections pertaining to their appearance – despite the fact that George Clooney seems to think that men should not be having any form of cosmetic surgery performed.
“It Makes Men Look Older”
George Clooney clearly seems to be under the impression that everyone – especially men – should simply accept the fact that they will end up looking older as time goes on and that they should be willing to be happy with the way they look. However, not every other man out there is fortunate enough to be as good-looking as him. In fact, during an interview with BBC’s Radio 4, Clooney stated that he is against men having any surgery. He said, “Clearly I haven’t (had surgery). For me, it isn’t an issue or an option. I don’t think it would make much sense, quite honestly…I’ve seen it happen and…particularly on men, I don’t think it really works well. I actually think it makes you look older.”
A Potential Confidence Booster
Numerous men out there certainly don’t share Clooney’s sentiment when it comes to having plastic surgery performed. In fact, many have reported that they do not go under the knife purely for vanity reasons – a large percentage have reported that, after healing has taken place, they have experienced an immense boost in their levels of self-esteem and confidence as well. Rough as it may seem, a great deal of research studies have clearly shown that the better-looking and more attractive people are the ones who are normally escorted to the front of the line when the time comes for company promotions.
