Each year, millions of men around the country have some type of plastic surgery procedures carried out in a bid to look younger or even to correct minor imperfections pertaining to their appearance – despite the fact that George Clooney seems to think that men should not be having any form of cosmetic surgery performed.

“It Makes Men Look Older”

George Clooney clearly seems to be under the impression that everyone – especially men – should simply accept the fact that they will end up looking older as time goes on and that they should be willing to be happy with the way they look. However, not every other man out there is fortunate enough to be as good-looking as him. In fact, during an interview with BBC’s Radio 4, Clooney stated that he is against men having any surgery. He said, “Clearly I haven’t (had surgery). For me, it isn’t an issue or an option. I don’t think it would make much sense, quite honestly…I’ve seen it happen and…particularly on men, I don’t think it really works well. I actually think it makes you look older.”

A Potential Confidence Booster

Numerous men out there certainly don’t share Clooney’s sentiment when it comes to having plastic surgery performed. In fact, many have reported that they do not go under the knife purely for vanity reasons – a large percentage have reported that, after healing has taken place, they have experienced an immense boost in their levels of self-esteem and confidence as well. Thanks to the improved self-confidence experienced, most of these men have also mentioned that their everyday lives have improved significantly as well.

Climbing Career Ladders

Most men who have had plastic surgery performed in a bid to fight against the aging process have realized that it has not only resulted in them looking younger; in many cases, it has even helped them to advance up the corporate ladders a lot faster as well. Rough as it may seem, a great deal of research studies have clearly shown that the better-looking and more attractive people are the ones who are normally escorted to the front of the line when the time comes for company promotions.

Advancing up the Social Ladder

Although George Clooney has not needed any help in making his way up the social ladder of life, many other men have. As a result, they have turned to professional plastic and cosmetic surgeons in a bid to help them in this regard. In most cases, men who have had plastic surgery performed have not looked back and have been more than just satisfied with their new looks. They have also not regretted any of their decisions regarding their procedures in any way either.

People like George Clooney may have been lucky enough to land up with the best possible looks; however, even he needs to realize that many other men out there feel that they need a little help when it comes to improving their appearances as well as their levels of confidence.
