Eugene Kim, MD., who is also a board-certified plastic surgeon in the Beverly Hills area, said, “Patients bring pictures of celebrities on their cell phones or show me photos they found on social media of what they want to look like.”

Although it is often thought that everyone should be satisfied with their appearances, this is not always possible, especially in cases where a person has ears that stick out, a larger than average nose or lips that may not seem to be full enough. Aspects like these (and many more) are among the main motivating factors for the younger generation to turn to cosmetic surgery these days – they know that they don’t have to ‘just live with it’ anymore. Afterwards, more than 90% of them have reported that their chosen procedures have provided them with a much-needed boost of confidence.

It’s a known fact that people who are deemed to be better looking and more attractive will be the ones who are offered jobs and career promotions along the way. As it is, the job market is already so competitive these days with some posts literally receiving hundreds of applications.
