I’m sure most have heard the story of Jenna Talackova, the Canadian born Transgender women who competed for Canada’s Miss Universe pageant this year and was unlawfully disqualified for not “being a born a biological woman.” While this is a story about discrimination in the pageant world, this is also an inspiring story about how a beautiful transgender woman, over came the odds and changed the rules to give future transgender women a chance to be a beauty queen. Hopefully this indecent is just the beginning to change discriminatory regulations and shatter stereotypes by educating the public of situations such as these.
