Botox Can Decrease Anger and Sadness

Believe it or not this information holds some significant weight. Keep in mind that plastic surgery treatments like Botox can help a persons mood from feeling better about themselves but there is a bit more science to it. According to an article on the Wall Street Journal blog the decrease of using muscles for frowning have been know to decrease sadness and anger leaving a direct connection between smiling and being in a good mood.
“In a 2010 study published in the journal Psychological Science, researchers found that when they used Botox to block the muscle used for frowning, participants took longer to process a negative emotion such as anger or sadness.”
