What Is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is a form of permanent hair removal. It is performed using a special probe that emits a mild energy current. The probe is delicately inserted along the hair follicle and then the current is released. This energy emitted by the probe destroys the hair follicle, thus permanently preventing hair from growing in the area. It’s a precise and skilled procedure.

All the hairs in one area of the body are not in the same phase at the same time, so if only one treatment is performed, only the hairs that were currently in the growth cycle will be gone.

Performing electrolysis treatments over the course of several days or weeks will allow time for all of the hairs in the targeted area to reach the growth phase. This allows the treatment to work properly and target all the hairs in the area, making your results much more consistent.
