To the Ancient Greeks, Morpheus was the god of sleep and dreams. Today, Morpheus is still the stuff of dreams and we are proud to offer Morpheus 8 in Boston from InMode as our choice for advanced radiofrequency microneedling skin treatments.

Morpheus can tighten skin, lift tissue, brighten skin, reduce wrinkles, improve acne, treat stretch marks, reduce scars, and shrink large pores. It works on your lips, cheeks, chin, neck, décolletage, arms, necks, abdomen, thighs, knees, elbows, and more. We can even use it to help shrink swelling after rhinoplasty, and sometimes to reduce small fat depositions.

The Morpheus in Boston works by combining two key technologies: microneedling and radiofrequency energy (RF energy). Prior to the procedure you will be asked to apply topical numbing cream to the area being treated. After that has had a chance to work, the cream is wiped off and the treatment begins. Very thin gold needles go into your skin at a depth selected by the doctor according to your need. These tiny “pokes” stimulate the upper layers of your skin to form more collagen and reduce wrinkles. Additionally, when inserted, the Morpheus 8 machine emits radiofrequency energy into the deeper layers which stimulates even stronger collagen and elastin production.

The procedure is quick, comfortable (with the numbing cream), and results in limited downtime. Typically the treated area will look red and a bit swollen for 12-36 hours, but it shouldn’t limit your activity. You can eat what you want, exercise, or enjoy a glass of wine without problem.

Depending upon what you want changed, we may recommend the procedure be repeated, and sometimes the best results occur after 3 treatments spaced out a few weeks apart. You’ll see improvement in just a short time after your first treatment and it should continue to look better in the following 6 months or more. This is a permanent improvement. While you will, of course, continue to age, you’ll be starting from a much better place, with healthier skin and a better appearance.

We have seen many people for whom Morpheus was a true godsend. Acne, scars, fine lines, thin skin, and stretch marks anywhere on your body should look better.
