Sad eyes. Tired eyes. Droopy eyes. The eyes are the window to the soul, and the last thing you want is to have a tired expressions applied to you.

Fortunately, eyelid rejuvenation has become very refined! There are many ways to improve your eyelids, right in the office.

Which of these sounds like you?

(1) I’ve not got too much saggy skin, but my eyes look hollow and there’s an indentation along the top of my eyelids.

If you’ve got hollowing of the upper eyelid, you may have what we call an “a-frame” deformity. This is caused by a diminished amount of fat in the upper lid. In this situation, we can fix you up in no time. Hyaluronic acid based filler can be placed into the groove to restore a youthful, natural shape to the upper eyelid. The procedure takes minutes and lasts a very long time!

(2) I’ve got baggy eyelids, but the skin is fairly wrinkle free.

Here, you’ve got what we call “pseudoherniation” of the fat. This means that the membrane that holds the fat around the eye is starting to loose its stretch. We’ve got two great solutions. One choice is “accutite”. Accutite involves placing a small probe under the skin (with local anesthesia, of course) and melting the fat. There are no incisions – just two small needle pokes on each side. Then, for the next 6 months you’ll enjoy continually shrinking and tightening eyelids.

The other choice is a “scarless” blepharoplasty. Here, a small incision is made under the eyelid (again with local anesthesia), and excess fat is carefully removed. There are no stitches to remove, no visible incisions, and it can all be done right in the office.

(3) I’ve got wrinkly, loose skin, and no fullness or puffiness.

Two good choices for you! We may want to try radiofrequency microneedling. Here, a device called Morpheus 8 is used to put energy into the skin. All you need is numbing cream, and all you’ll typically get is some redness for the next few hours. Then, watch in amazement as your eyelid skin slowly tightens over the ensuing months. For best results we’ll repeat the procedure three times.

Or, if you’ve let it go a while and there is a lot of laxity, let’s just take that extra skin away. Our doctors can use local anesthesia, right in the office, and take years off your eyelids. A few absorbable stitches remain to fade away over the next week. There is a small, well-hidden incision line that fades over time and you can wear make-up as soon as a week after the procedure to hide any redness.

(4) I’ve got a bit of everything. My eyelids are baggy, wrinkly, saggy or droopy. Help!

Don’t worry – we’ve got you. Our doctors can combine techniques and perform advanced blepharoplasty to help your upper and lower lids look years younger, and stay healthier for years to come.

Improving your eyelids is a great way to look great, feel better about yourself, and restore confidence without needing a lot of down time to recuperate. We may be able to get things looking great in minutes, or, it may take an hour with a week of laying low, but, wherever you are we’ve got the solution.
