Many of us strive for a healthy young looking skin and some of us spend our entire lifetime chasing after that youthful look and feel sometimes missing out on one of the most important factors in achieving this…your diet. Having a healthy diet can work wonders on the skin but a person needs to be committed and consistent for it to really take affect. Changing the diet is one of the hardest things a person can do but often times one of the most rewarding if a person can stick with it.

Here are some healthy diet tips to help you change the way you eat:

Drink Green Tea

Green tea has been known to work amazing wonders on the body but it has to be a consistent process. Green tea has been known to significantly slow down the aging process in a person by up to 20 times if drank on a consistent basis. Green tea is very high in anti-oxidants which is ideal for youthful living and skin rejuvenation.

Red Fruits & Vegetables

Red fruits and vegetables also have very strong antioxidant effects that allow your skins cells to breathe out any and all toxins that might be clogging your pores. You can really eat them any which way you please either in raw form on a salad or mixed into a pasta. Studies have shown though that in their raw form is when they allow the anti-oxidants to really take place in your body.

Drink Lots Of Water

Water consumption is one of the best things you can do for your skin. Since your body is made of up of mostly water it is just common knowledge that there should always be plenty of it in your system on a daily basis. Consume around 8 glasses per day of water.

Low Calories

Of course this is often easier said than done but keeping your caloric intake down to keep weight down will also stop your skin from stretching. When your skin stretches and contracts from weight loss it often times looses it’s bounce and tends to sag. There are cosmetic surgical procedures that can resolve this but if you want to avoid surgery try avoiding high calorie diets.

Having a healthy diet makes a big difference in how your skin looks and feels. Everything you put in your body is used for for fuel in your skin so always put nothing but the best into your system.
