Preparing for surgery is hard enough! Let us help with some of the other details. Click on the below details for recommendations on hotels, transportation, things to do in Boston, and more. Recommended Hotel Accommodations
Our office works with a number of hotels to suit anybody’s taste and budget. Each of these frequently house our patients and are quite familiar with our work. We have an excellent relationship with these hotels and they frequently tell us how much they enjoy having our patients stay with them. Click on the
link below to learn about these hotels and their patient medical rates.
Local Parking Garage Locations
Our office building offers valet parking in front of the Menino Building for a $10 all day flat rate. Patient parking lots are located at 720 Harrison Avenue and 710 Albany Street. Both are a short walk to our office at 830 Harrison Avenue and offer low parking rates for patients. Click on the link below for a map of the BMC campus including the nearby parking locations.
Rent a Limo or Car Service
Want a ride from the airport or to surgery in style? Arrange a limo or car service to ensure you get to your desired location on time. http://www.bostoncar.com/
Arrange Recovery Accommodations
About half of our patients travel to Boston without an escort. Recovery can be a handful but is manageable on your own. However, you don’t have to go it alone. Private duty nurses (PDN) are available for hire to escort you from hospital bed to hotel bed and can even run errands like filling prescriptions, getting ice, or getting popsicles, whatever you need! Contact Katie (katie@drspiegel.com) to arrange a PDN during your stay.
Things to Do in Boston
We may be biased but we think Boston is a heck of a town. With its rich history, amazing shopping, beautiful land and seascapes, and delicious food Boston offers something for everyone. We’re certain you’ll enjoy your time here and will get a chance to enjoy some of what Boston has to offer (even if convalescing from surgery).

About Boston’s Transportation
Boston is a compact city and any hotel within Greater Boston is generally only 5-15 minutes from the hospital depending on traffic. Boston’s subway system, the “T”, is also an effective way to get from one place to another. Check out the link below for a handy T map.
Boston Medical Center is located closest to the Silver Line (which confusingly is actually a bus line) on the Worcester Square stop. Our office is located just one block south.
