No More Sweat!

Did you know that Botox not only eliminates fine lines and wrinkles but it can also stop excessive sweating under the arms for both men and women!  The medical term for this is hyperhidrosis and many, many people suffer from this embarrassing disorder. Botox is able to stop excessive sweating from occurring by actually paralyzing the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands.

Is this treatment painful?

This treatment can be somewhat uncomfortable but surely not painful. Typically a doctor will numb your underarms with a topical numbing cream for 10-15 minutes prior to having your injection to ensure that you’re comfortable prior to your injection.

How long does this treatment last?

Botox injected in your face usually lasts 3 months however if you use it for excessive sweating, your treatment can last for up to 6 full months.

Can I see an immediate result?

No. Botox takes around 1 week to fully start working so be patient, it will work but it just takes time to block your nerves.

How long does the actual procedure take?

Give yourself a good hour to have your treatment. This includes paperwork, consultation, numbing and treatment.  One can even have a treatment on their lunch break!
